How to get to the sanctuary
The Sanctuary can only be reached by car.
Coming from the South on the A12(GE-LI), take the exit for Brugnato/Borghetto Vara and follow the signs for La Spezia/5 Terre.
Drive on the SS1 Aurelia until Localita’ Pian di Barca.
At the fork take the road for Pignone and Monterosso.
Drive for approximately 30 minutes on the Strada Provinciale to find on the left the entrance to the Santuario N.S di Soviore.
Coming from the North on the A12 (GE-LI), take the exit for Carrodano and follow
the signs for Levanto.
Drive for approximately 7 km, at the roundabout take the third exit to Monterosso.
Follow the Strada Provinciale with its wonderful panorama until you reach Colla di Gritta.
At the fork turn left following the signs for Pignone and Vernazza.
Drive for about 4 km to find on the right the entrance to the Santuario N.S di Soviore.
